Mountain View is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within Cardston County.[2] It is located along Highway 5 approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Cardston and 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Waterton Lakes National Park near the United States border.
The hamlet is located in census division No. 3 and in the federal riding of Lethbridge. It is administered by Cardston County.
As of 2006, Mountain View had a total population of 20 living in 14 dwellings. With a land area of 1.36 km2 (0.53 sq mi), it has a population density of 14.7 /km2 (38 /sq mi).[1]
Industry Canada shows that Mountain View's greater rural area had a total population of 480 living in 166 dwellings in 2001. With a land area of 311.4 km2 (120.2 sq mi), its greater rural area has a population density of 3.0 /km2 (7.8 /sq mi).[3]
